More information

Nature Trail - Established many years ago, our farm trail originally spanned two working farms and enabled guests to experience all the fun of the farm. Still encompassing both farms it has now developed into a country trail as the work has changed and accommodation provision is at the forefront.Giving you the chance to explore your surroundings during your stay, be it skipping through bluebells, kicking the leaves or discovering wonderful wildlife, the trail brings nature to your doorstep.

The Lake - A fairly recent addition at Degembris, our lake enhances the already stunning countryside views. It has blended into the landscape beautifully and looks as though it’s always been there. Another bonus is the attraction of a wide variety of wildlife from the deers that come out of the woods to drink to the many dragonflies.

Since it’s creation in 2015, it has been a topic of great discussion especially as we discover that so many of our guests love fishing.
Watch this space for more developments!

Wildlife - An on-going project at Degembris, to encourage a wide variety of native wildlife to our little patch. Since stopping our more intensive farming several years ago we have found many different visitors are showing their faces.

Among our regulars are red deer’s emerging from the woods to take a drink at the lake, a heron taking a dip, barn owls on a dusk fly past, along with bees and dragonflies to name just a few.

We’re hoping to encourage many more species in the future, what will you spot while you’re here?
