We spent 4 days at Haggerston castle last week and I was truly blown away by the detail and the attention that catered for my son. Normally we pack the kitchen sink to leave for any trip but the caravan was filled with super hero toys and sensory toys and lights, which my son was amazed by. It felt very calm for him and we enjoyed a comfortable stay while also relaxing as a family on a trip which is normally stressful. Thank you so much for transforming the super hero room! Jude loved it and we will be back again

I would strongly recommend Spectrum Holidays. The social story and the holiday calendar provided worked a treat. Gave our son a good understanding of where we were going on holiday and for how long. The toy box provided had plenty to keep our little boy occupied. Sophia and Malcolm promptly answered our queries and understood our needs, and the personal touches of messaging us on arrival and departure were much appreciated. We have just had a fantastic week at Stables Cottage. The cottage is very spacious, all on one level, and was well stocked with kitchen and cleaning equipment. . There was a lovely welcome tray on arrival; locally made bread, lemon drizzle cake, marmalade, butter and eggs. Rachael, the owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cottage was located in a quiet village but well located for days out. It has a small play area. Never got to try the food in/from the village pub as it was shut due to COVID, and the shop in the village has also closed, however the one in the next village is open

Me and my family have just had fantastic week at Sherwood hide away lodge and what can I say other that outstanding on arrival there was a bottle of wine for me and my partner along side some chocolate there was a box full of toys for my two to play with and there was even a towel and treats for our dog Winston
In our room there were dressing gown for us all including the kids and slippers the hot tube for the kids really topped the whole trip off morning noon and night asking if they could go in
all in all a fantastic trip and I can’t wait to book another trip somewhere very soon

Our son is 4 and has many challenges related to his autism.
After a few challenging experiences on holidays, we decided to try ‘spectrum holidays’ for a short break - so glad we did. We decided to go for Sherwood Forrest for a long weekend for my sons birthday.
We were sent a countdown and helpful booklet for my son on the run up to the trip so he could prepare.
The lodges were safe and secure with a hot tub which my son enjoyed.
There were some lovely walks around the site which were safe and secure, so our son was free to run / bolt in any direction he wanted. He loved this!
Well researched and thought out.
Sophia and Malcolm supported us before, during and after.
We would def recommend and will look forward to trying another location next year

We had a fabulous stay at Haggerston Castle. Nothing was too much trouble for Sophia and Malcolm despite my numerous questions. All of the Sensory Equipment really helped my little boy and both children said it was one of the best caravans they had stayed in. The little touches were so sweet such as putting the kids names on one of the boards ready for them arriving. Just a little thing but put such big smiles on the kids faces. The Easter Hunt was also super fun for them. Thank you both again xx
