The Corn Barn

Location

East Trenean Farm – Widegates, Looe, Cornwall

Description

The Corn Barn is a beautiful Grade II listed, 18th Century barn, that has been lovingly converted to an exceptionally high standard.

The farm is tucked away on the south east coast of Cornwall within easy reach of areas of outstanding natural beauty.

With its vaulted kitchen/diner and a spacious living room featuring wood burning stove, stone walls, wooden trusses and beams, this cottage is a stunning place to holiday.

With four large double bedrooms all with zip-link beds which can be arranged as singles or king-size doubles, this cottage is perfect for larger family groups.

The Corn Barn is one of four cottages situated on an old working farm in the middle of the stunning Cornwall countryside and only 7 minutes from the popular seaside town of Looe. The Corn Barn sleeps up to 8 and is an open and bright space

All bedrooms are bright and airy and each have their own double doors that lead straight in to the garden (All doors are lockable with a key)

There is also a large family bathroom with full size bath and separate shower.

No bleach or harmful chemicals are used in order to protect the fragile eco-environment at The Corn Barn.

The water supply comes from a spring-fed borehole which is filtered, so no need to buy bottled as our spring water is “on tap”.

We have our own chickens laying free range eggs and sheep grazing on our land!

The Corn Barn also benefits from a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy far-reaching countryside views down the wooded valley to Seaton on the Cornish coast with a glimpse of the sea!

  • Key locks on doors and windows with removable keys.

  • The owners live on site and are friendly, approachable and happy to help with anything.
  • Log burner in lounge.
